Sabrina Carpenter released her fifth studio album ‘Emails I Can’t Send’ on Friday July 15, and shortly after the project escalated into controversy after her close friend Julia Michaels claimed the writing credits for her last effort in the studio. The latter was brutally slammed on Twitter after responding to some fans saying, “I wrote F**king all of this.” Michaels ended up deactivating his Twitter account over the weekend.
While Michael’s loyal fans have defended her, others have dubbed her “immature” and “weird” for talking shit on Twitter and getting credits for Carpenter’s album. The California-based singer-songwriter didn’t address the trolls directly, but posted several stories on Instagram revealing his deep love for songwriting. Michael was also trolled for praising Sabrina on Instagram on release day, but is now taking credit for her album.

Julia Michaels deletes her Twitter account
While responding to some of the fans on random messages for the first time, Michael wrote, “But I thought you hated the way I write because FYI…I wrote F**king all that after praising Carpenter’s album. However, after being brutally trolled for the same, the 28-year-old crooner deactivated her Twitter account.
Michaels then took to her Instagram to speak her mind by posting several stories about the photo-sharing app. “I’ve had so many ups and downs throughout my career. Truly some of the highest highs and lowest lows and to this day I still can’t believe I can do what I love in life. She added, “It’s beautiful and sad and heartbreaking and painful and sometimes I want to quit,” concluding, “But nothing ever feels better than when you’ve finished writing a song and you’ve just take a deep breath.”
On the day of Carpenter’s album release, Michaels praised the singer on Instagram, saying, “Emails I can’t send aren’t availablewwwwwwwww. So proud of you @sabrinacarpenter, you really put your heart and soul into this. So happy that everyone can experience it now, thank you for so many memories, I love you very much. Carpenter, on the other hand, did not comment on the controversy. MEAWW will keep you posted.

She’s fine when her work is diluted with other writers (i.e. she’ll fine in small doses) but she uses the same style over and over again. I hope GOD Sabrina and Selena get away from her.
