Lebanese artist, Elissa has revealed the postponement of her next album, which was scheduled for release this summer.
The singer added that she is preparing to release a Lebanese dialect song in the upcoming period.
“The album will be released at the appropriate time,” she added.
She released her latest album “Sahbet Raey” in July 2020.
Additionally, Elissa is teaming up with Marwan Khoury again on new songs.
“There is a cooperation that soon brings me with Marwan Khoury. I am very happy to collaborate with a great artist and a dear brother like Marwan Khoury,” she told the Saudi daily “Okaz”.
The Lebanese artist noted that they had worked on two or three songs and promised fans that they would be blessed with the new music.
The new music comes after a 7-year dispute between the couple. In 2014, Elissa announced that she would never collaborate with Khoury again following creative differences.
Khoury presented several distinguished songs with the singer such as “Law Tearafou”, “Betmoun”, “Kermalak” and “Fi Shi Nkasar”.
Elissa, on the other hand, will perform live at Makadi Heights Resort, Red Sea, Egypt on Friday, July 1.
The evening will also include a performance by superstar Wael Kfoury.
