Anushka and her brother Karnesh had launched their production house Clean Slate Filmz together, but recently the actress walked away from it. Announcing her decision, Anushka shared, “When I started Clean Slate Filmz with my brother Karnesh Ssharma, we were new to production but we had a fire in our stomachs and wanted to try and set the entertainment agenda by India. through decluttering content. Today, when I look back on our journey so far, I am deeply proud of what we have created and the disruption we have managed to achieve. As CSF started with my vision to change the narrative of what business ventures should be, I have to thank Karnesh who excelled in shaping what CSF has become today. Being a new mother who chose to be an actress by profession, I have to balance my life in an entirely new way like never before. So, I have decided that whatever time I have, I will dedicate to my first love, theater! Therefore, I have decided to withdraw from CS F, convinced that the most capable person, Karnesh, continues the vision with which he was created in the first place.”
Currently, Anushka is busy preparing for her upcoming sports drama “Chakda Xpress.” The film is a biopic about Jhulam Goswami’s journey and is set to release on an OTT platform.
