When we last heard from pirate metalheads Alestorm, it was frontman Christopher Bowes’ apology for offensive texts sent by him and members of Gloryhammer that came to light. Now it looks like the pirate metal crew are back, having announced a new album this week.

According to the band’s Instagram, Alestorm’s seventh studio album will be titled Seventh rum of a seventh rum, and will be released on June 24 via Napalm Records. Pre-order information has yet to be released, but you can check out the cover art and track listing below.

According to the group:

“At this time, we are very happy to reveal the cover (again drawn by the magnificent Dan Goldsworthy) and the tracklist.”

“If you think everything we’ve released since 2014 is pure crap, then you’re going to love this album! We added 77% more giant metal riffs and epic orchestral adventures to these songs, and it all sounds pretty cool. But if you’re a fan of Lamborghinis, rubber duckies and swearing, don’t despair! We also managed to write some of our most silly and offensive party anthems for this record.

“The whole thing is once again produced by legendary wizard Lasse Lammert, and there are guest appearances from all our favorite friends, including Captain Yarrface on vocals, Patty Gurdy on hurdy-gurdy, Ally Storch on fiddle, Matt Egg Cockram, and even a choir ensemble singing in mistranslated Latin thanks to the guys and gals at Hellscore.

Lo and behold: as long as someone plays from the egg, this should turn out to be the greatest album of all time.
